Jim W. Underwood, CFA, Chief Portfolio Strategist, Welch Hornsby

Mr. Underwood is Chief Portfolio Strategist with Welch Hornsby and a shareholder of the firm. He is the architect behind the firm’s investment framework. Mr. Underwood is a member of the Welch Hornsby Research Committee, overseeing research on capital markets and non-traditional investment strategies.

Mr. Underwood received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He is a member of the CFA Institute and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. Underwood serves on the Investment Committee for the Mountain Brook Library Foundation.
